A high level of cutting quality has remained from 1959. The manufacturing of high-quality cylinders and cutting units, know-how and craftsman’s skill have been handed down from generation to generation.
A 1.5m mid-mount rotary mower for rough and semi-rough mowing. Thanks to a very low centre of gravity and wide wheelbase the GM1700 is extremely stable when mowing all those awkward slopes on a golf course. The switchable 2 wheel/4 wheel drive system ensures maximum traction on the most difficult of terrain.
The GM1700 comes as standard with a 3 – part contour cutter deck which enables it to be used as a semi-rough and trim mower around bunkers.
It can also be purchased with a 1.45m rough cut deck, mulching deck or side discharge cutting deck.
Rated according to ISO 5395 to 25 degrees for slope mowing the GM1700 is equipped with a seat which tilts to 30 degrees to ensure the operator is sitting upright whenever slope mowing is the order of the day.
The five independently mounted cutting decks ensure maximum contour following in all conditions. The unique height adjustment system enables the operator to change cutting heights in minutes.
Rear cutting decks that swing out for ease of access mean no more hard to reach and practically unserviceable areas on the machine.
A powerful engine and high-torque wheel motors, combined with on-demand 4-wheel drive, mean the GM2810 is comfortable and safe to use on the most demanding slopes and turns.
The Baroness LM180C is a classic example of Baroness engineering excellence. With fuel consumption of around 0.3 gallons per hour, low maintenance costs and exceptionally long life from the cutting cylinders and bottom blades, the result is a total cost of ownership which is superior to anything else on the market.
The reduction gear drive from the engine, combined with the differential lock, means the LM180C is very flexible and stable at slow speeds on sloping ground.
Combined with the flexible, low-revving engine, the three-speed gearbox gives you fine control on difficult sloping areas, fast cutting speed and a transport speed of up to 8.7 km/h.
This mower unit is independent of the drive unit so that it can follow the greens without being affected by the operator.
The grass box is also independent of the mower unit. If grass clippings, thatch and sand increases in the grass box, it does not affect the cutting angle of the mower unit, preventing the cutting height from fluctuating, allowing the mower to mow consistently and evenly.
The industry’s shortest distance between the front and rear rollers combined with a 4 inch 11-blade diameter reel the LM101 is designed to prevent scalping and minimize damage to the turf. The durable blades, made of Baroness’ own special steel, contribute to both a healthy clean cut from the first cut to the last creating a beautiful after cut appearance and high turf quality, thus achieving the ideal greens.
The brand new Riding Greens Mower, the LM311 will be introduced soon! The LM311 is an upgraded version of the LM315GC. This is an all-hydraulic triplex which will produce an exceptional playing surface using the best reels and bedknives in the turf industry. It is completely hydraulic and the blades are also hydraulically driven. The rotation speed of the blade can be adjusted steplessly, allowing you to smoothly and quickly change the rotation speed according to the grass conditions.

The simple design allows the LM331 to hug all contours and undulations around the bunkers and surround areas on the golf course while creating a healthy cut and beautiful after cut appearance.
The LM331 is equipped with precision engineered reel cutters, made from Baroness’ own special steel and produced by proven craftsmanship and state of the art manufacturing technology.
A feature unique to the LM331, the mower arms are equipped with two types of mechanisms: The first absorbs the bouncing of the mowers to keep consistent down pressure. The second enables the mower to follow the most severe undulations accurately whilst creating a beautiful finish.
The Baroness LM281, a flexible, full-time 4-wheel drive triplex cylinder mower with the power to cut large swathes of longer grass and the finesse to produce an approach quality finish, this mower is equally at home on the golf course semi-rough, approaches and bunker surrounds as well as verge-mowing and semi-formal municipal areas.
Powered by a 26 hp Kubota diesel engine, this mower can cover large areas fast and, with the renowned durability of the Baroness cutting cylinders and bedknives (tungsten tipped bedknives are fitted as standard), the quality of cut stays longer than you could imagine!
In keeping with all Baroness machines, simplicity is the key, with the minimum of control systems and no complicated electronics, yet retaining the engineering integrity and quality that Baroness is known for.
With its 22" units the mower follows undulations superbly with less marking of the turf. The 4WD cross circuit hydraulic drive system and low centre of gravity design, allows excellent climbing power and movability, all with a solid fuel saving 25hp Kubota engine. All this on the back of the worlds leading bottom blades and cylinders, that stay on cut up to 3 times longer than the competition.
The cross circuit system works by connecting the hydraulic flow from either front wheel to the opposite rear wheel in a cross, as its name implies. The cross circuit drive system combines the turning abilities of a parallel circuit with the climbing capabilities of a series circuit.
The LM551 is designed to produce a high-quality cut for any golf course around the world. Equipped with a 22-inch standard reel along with optional mower units and accessories, Baroness’ new midweight 5-unit fairway mower allows you to create the best configuration to meet your turf conditions.
The forward and backward slide function of the rear cutting units increase contour following whilst minimizing uncut turf. The LM551’s mower units have an industry-leading range of motion combined with the unique tension support and down pressure features, allows the machine to consistently and accurately follow the most severe undulating surfaces.
